i am wanting to do some diy vinyl wrapping to my r56,

i am thinking

the rear diffuser and the tailgate, but i not sure how much to order i dont want to order to little or too much, i am wanting the 3m di no carbon fibre,

any suggestions?

Pop over to totalMINI and have a chat with gca3n (Greig) .... he is a bit of a master at wrapping and should be able to give you a steer ;)

The tailgate latch in CF vinyl looks very "real". It is well worth doing...
I did it to my R56 and despite several colour changes to the whole car, kept the CF effect on the latch.

technically it's not DiNoc (although that's what it gets referred to all over the interweb). That's architectural film only and is not designed for compound curves, nor exposure to the weather. It's actually called 1080 P which is 3M's top shelf film. Hexis (a UK company) also manufacture a similar film.
