Hi, just thought I'd introduce myself after registering here last week!

My name is Andie (female!!!), I'm based in Dorset.

I've just ORDERED MY FIRST MINI!!!! Wooohooooo! :cool:

I currently own an MG TF so it's going to be quite a change!

New Mini is a Mini One in Black with Pepper Pack, Rooster Red sports seats and colourline and the interior chrome line...oooh, plus chrome mirror caps!

Can't wait - but unfortunately have to as it's 4-6 weeks for delivery... :(

Will be a regular visitor...and would like to know if anyone has any pics of either red or silver stripes on their Mini...found some pics of silver stripes but not many of red...toying with the idea of having them added when the car is delivered at the dealership...

Hi there! Thanks for the welcome! :) Have to get used to this forum being a wee bit quieter than mg-rover.org!

Wish I didn't have to let the TF go but I can't afford to run two cars - actually, we'd have four family cars if I kept it...my Mini, my other half's Nissan Navara, my youngest son's Landrover Defender 90 and the TF!

Still toying with the idea of red stripes - cobra/viper style!

I think red viper stripes would look great im sure i've seen some pics of black/red vipers somewhere
