I'm trying to figure out what my car is, and if the parts were options?

2001 cooper in liquid yellow.

My parts that i'd like to have knowledge on.

Roof
Its chequered

Wheels
I havent seen any other like them, they are 16's that look like tsw venoms, I have googled loads of images but cant find them.

Interior
Silver centre consule + door plastics.
Gearknob, metal/ leather. steering wheel - 2 spoke.
Air con, flat tyre calibration button, cd changer, no spare wheel- got a 12v pump and gas. Seats have leather round the sides and slightly onto the base, and have air bags. Passenger seat is not height adjustable.

Thanks for any info on what my car has over standard and rough costs would be great, I like knowing everything about my cars :biggrin:

Im pretty sure the spec sounds like what you would have got with the salt or the chilli pack (not sure which one) which is an optional extra. Im certain the half leather seats and the air-con were not standard. I find the newer cars are much better spec'd as standard than what they were back then.

Post a pic of your wheels, it will be easier to identify

Also, all roof decals are a separate purchase though some dealers will throw them in as a freebie depending on how well the customer bargains!

If it was the chili pack the passenger seaat hight would be adjustable, it could be salt or pepper with a few extra options? If you go to your local dealer they can print of an original spec sheet

Its not a chili then as it dosent have the height adjustable seat.

i have the same dilema mines got air con ,climate control ,cruise control half leather both seats are hight adjustable has 16" alloys with runflats bonnet stripes did have spots but i took them off

Mines supposed to be a chilli pack, but come to think of it, not sure either seat is height adjustable unless its more a slidey adjust with a handle as I think it has that, but it has everything else so should check really.

I think the easiest way to tell if its a chilli pack is if it has the rear spoiler as thats not exactly something people get on its own. Its all just a collection of extras anyway in one pack. Also would have fog lights, although on mine these are barely noticeable with the design :)

Mines got:

fog lights
rear spolier
16" star
possibly sports suspension, cant really be 100% certain
full leather seats (must have got as extra)
air con
no cruise control, no onboard computer.
silver dash

The Cooper I have just purchased was listed as having the Chili pack. That contained the 16" 5 spokes, a 3 spoked steering wheel, the spoiler, half leather interior, an on board computer, AC....an interior and exterior chrome pack were also added (unless one of them comes with the Chili?)..as others have said a local dealer could provide you with an original spec sheet or a quick google search would probably be just as profitable, far less time consuming!
