Well, I've been reading the forum for month's, but finally got around to signing up today. Seems like a great forum, and has been helpful on several occasions already.

I've owned a classic Mini for years (always as a second car for weekend hijinks), but only just bought my first 'new' Mini in December 2010, and I've bought it primarily as a driving school car. Went for a brand new Cooper D, and loving every moment of the 7000 miles I've already clocked up!
