Picked up my Countryman yesterday and delivered it back to the dealership today via recovery truck. Managed to blow out the tyre.
Not sure if I hit a nail (didn't see or feel anything), but the impact was almost instantaneous and was running on the alloys after a few seconds. Doing 40ish on the motorway and was able to get to the side safely, but was a bit scary.
Now waiting on Service Dept to open in the morning to find out the verdict and whether I'll be held liable for the cost of the new tyre (£140+) and alloy damage.
Not the best first 24hrs!!!
