Seeing as we've not got a new SD forum section yet, I'll post this in here are risk it being moved.

Has anyone driven a new SD hatch yet or got one on order?

It seems to tick all the boxes on paper for me but I'd be interested to hear from R56 CoopS owners who may have driven it to see if the engine is worthy of the S badge, and if the petrol lump is really the heart and soul of the normal S.

I'm not expecting rocket-ship speed or refinement, but the increased MPG coupled with the S look really appeal...

Not a Mini Owner.
But I have had a Test Drive in a Cooper SD Automatic - Impressed and expecting to have another Test soon. Could be a purchaser soon given a competitve insurance quotation and a an acceptable deal from the Dealer.
