Hi everyone,

Firstly I apologise if I have posted this in the wrong place or if this info is already listed elsewhere, I've tried searching but can't find anything!

Anyway ... I bought an 07 reg Mini One last September and have been waiting to add some extra bits to it, its my birthday next month so I can finally afford the bits im after :D

On my list is:

Chrome wing mirrors
Clear side indicator lenses
Black jack side scuttles
Cooper rear roof spoiler

Basically I want to know how easy it is to fit the wing mirrors and side scuttles, bearing in mind im a woman and pretty useless when it comes to cars!

Also is it actually possible to retrofit a rear spoiler on the One? I spoke to one garage who said I would need to get a new boot, but why would they list it as an accessory on the website if you can't actually get it??

They are a few other mods I want but might need to save up a bit longer ;)

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

wing mirrors - easy, thin flathead screwdriver to lever the old caps that just unclip off, then push the new ones on.

indicator scuttles - easy, slide forward towards the front of the car they will pop out, twist bulb to release, opposite to put back on

rear spoiler - easy, open the boot, remove the 5(i think) screw covers, then using a wrench undo the bolts, swap the spoilers and rebolt and put back the plastic covers.

all easy diy take no longer than a few minutes
