Well went for a test drive in the new 2011 cooper s today and loved it so i put my order in now just got a four week wait.

Good luck in your new S Rossi, just make sure you go over your's with a fine tooth comb when it arrives! and just a suggestion, if you purchased the seal&protect, I would cancel it and get it detailed by a pro! not by the £6 an hour guy's that'll poss put scratches in yer paintwork! guessing you'll still have change after as well, thats if they ain't damaged it already by getting the transporter wax off? sorry for sounding slightly negative, hopefully you'll be more lucky than I was! loving mine now it's sorted!

Thanks for the reply, I know what you mean I have had quite a few new cars and know to let the dealers touch the paint work as little as possible. They were pushing for me to have Supaguard, saying how great it is but as you say i would rather spend the money on a pro detail.

Having pepper white which is the first time i have not had metallic so hopefully may be easier to avoid swirls??

I was gonna ask what colour ya went for, but thought I'd rambled enough lol, I initially had my heart set on laser blue untill I saw an Eclipse grey at dealership, was won over then, but often asked myself if both had been side by side which one would've swung it? another time perhap's!
Four weeks till new car paranoia sets in, watch them hedges/tree sap/parking in tesco etc lol.

I ordered my Copper D three weeks ago and I also included the Interior Surface Striped Alloy even thought I never had the chance to see how it looks in real life (just from the MINI Catalog), and now I have second thoughts about it.
Do you have any pictures that show the Interior Surface Striped Alloy?

I haven't got any pictures yet but when i get mine in the next few weeks I can put some up if you want.

I wasn't sure which to have as the striped Alloy seemed alot more expensive than the others and I wasn't sure why. However when I saw it at the dealers it made my mind up straight away. I'm sure people will correct me if I'm wrong but to me It looked and felt like Alloy rather than coloured plastic as it was cold. Also you get it on the internal door handle as well which replaces the cheap feeling black plastic.
