Hi, thought I'd post this as it's such a new model.

Had a quick drive of a cooper SD today when I went to the local dealer. I just wanted to see what the turbo S was like to drive as I'e driven a supercharged S and wanted to see the difference as I'm thinking about getting myself one to match my new graduate job :D.

Overall it didn't feel like a diesel at all and had lots of low down grunt. I didn't thrash it as I was only out for about 10 minutes but the steering felt very accurate and weighted up very nicely into the corners. It wasn't loud and if the dealer didn't tell me I wouldn't even know it was a diesel (I drive a lupo tdi sport as a daily so I'd know!)

Fancying a cooper S but really worried about fuel consumption as going from my lupo (50-70mpg) to a cooper S (40mpg combined) I think the fuel issue may p me off after a while.
