Does anybody know how much the spot lamps / additional headlights as they're called on the MINI website cost and how much a dealership will charge for labour?

It will be different depending on which generation MINI you have
Gen 1 need coding
Gen 2 do not

Gen 2.

looking at £300+ fitted..

not just the lamp kit it's also the grill & brackets..

£300 + Service charge? Bloody hell. That's extortionate.

I'd hit eBay!!

I know a bunch of guys who work for different car companies around Glasgow and have reliably informed me that the spot lamps in question can be bought for roughly £100 and even if you're getting someone to fit them for you the labour shouldn't cost any more than £50. Saying as I'm going to be buying the car brand spanking new out of the factory then I'm pretty sure this should not cost as much as everyone is suggesting.
