are Australian mini cooper 2003 r53 s fuel pumps the same as the USA mini cooper 2003 r53s fuel pumps? The reason I ask is that I urgently need a Fuel pump for my mini cooper which won't start. I am looking on ebay and I see that there are a few US ones on there.

Any help and guidance would be greatly appreciate.

I would suspect them to be the same, but double check the part number as it changed effective with July 2004 builds ...
