I noticed that when I tested it - was trying to link to my gallery. Have now updated to larger images

I didn't realize your pictures were in the MINI2 Galleries http://www.mini2.com/galleries/data/521/doh.gif

All you had to do was copy and paste the Code for Forum Posting provided on the gallery page for the picture ...

Very VERY nice motor.

Looks great in that colour combo and the options list is nice and extensive too.

Couple of quick questions for you - did you get the ipod usb/video connection cable included with the car?

Is that the striped alloy dash inlays I spot? If so, any chance of better pics of the dash and doors? I've ordered it on my car and have never seen it in the flesh anywhere and all the photos are really poor. Does it have a cold metal feel like real alloy?

I bet that cost a few quid - SD+Vision/Media/Chilli/Wheels/Metallic/Roof/heated seats/lounge leather and probably a host of other stuff we can't see! £25k+ I bet :)

Yes it's striped alloy. I hadn't seen it in a car before either, but am really pleased with it. It does look and feel metallic.

Lots of extra on this car and no it wasn't cheap! :D

Forgot so say - yes got the Y cable with the car, but only because I had included it in the spec with the dealer.

That dash looks ace - thanks for the pics, can't wait to get mine now.

I've asked my supplying dealer about the y-cable as in the 'details' brochure it says it's included. I could do without spending another £50 if I can help it :)

Did you order H/K?

I still can't quite see it in the photos to see if you got the additional tweaters etc.

If so, does it sound GREAT?!

EDIT: yes, I can see you have got H/K... :)

2 months and 4750 miles later I am still REALLY happy with this car. Didn't think it was possible to have this much fun and get over 50 MPG!

Does a trip computer come as standard with an 2011 Cooper SD?

Nope, not on a basic car. It comes either on its own as an optional extra, or as part of the Chili pack.

Just taken delivery of SD hatchback. Totally super experience with the exception of a shattered passenger window for no apparent reason. Anybody had a similar experience?
