First time writing here as I just ordered my first brand new car, Mini Countryman S. Thought I'd tell you guys that the dealers on the East Coast (US) are no longer selling the Mini Connected or nav option with the 2011 models. I was pretty bummed since I did want to add the option. At least this is what the dealer was telling me. Has anyone else heard the same? THey are thinking it may be because of shortage of parts from Japan.

Wow! I don't understand - both of those options are still avaliable in the UK just checked at mini.co.uk

Placed my order today, and could not even get the mini boost radio.
The sales guy first got the info that navigation (and wired option pack) was unavailable. Didn't really care for that anyway, but then he called back to tell me I couldn't get the radio I wanted either:angry:

Ended up on the standard radio and added the city pack instead.
Oh well. I'm still getting the Harman Kardon soundsystem :)

Btw! New to the forum. Just ordered a cooper SD countryman in true blue with black roof and stripes. Added most of the options except sunroof and chrome.

I'm driving a BMW 118d now with a 10" infinity active subwoofer in the back. There's no room left for luggage!
looking forward to my countryman and finally having room for a suitcase AND good sound:D
