Not posted on here for ages but as there are people here who have the GTT idler pullies thought i'd post this for you to see

I had the GTT idler pulley and tensioner idler pulley fitted several years ago. Recently I noticed the tensioner one was shiney on one side, so I removed the tensioner to check what was wrong, the pulley itself was worn where the bearing fits inside. The side casing of the bearing was also worn where the circlip holds it in place.

Here's a couple of vids to show how much play there was

I refitted the original and also swapped the lower idler pulley back to the original, even though it felt ok, when spun it was slightly noisy.

So if you have the GTT idler pullies, get them checked out.

Other people have also had them fail, so it's not a one off failure
