Has anyone on the forum any experience of re mapping a 2007 mini cooper. There doesnt seem to be much info about this process. I realise Im not going to get much of a power increase, just wondered if the extra torque aids performance and fuel consumption. In addition would a dealer be able to detect a re map if the car when in for warranty work.

Just got my R56 remapped last Friday by Will at P-Torque - very impressed. Will knows what he's talking about and is very thorough. I had a custom remap as I have upgraded the exhaust system, down pipe, panel filter and inter cooler and it Dyno'd at 240bhp (hot day so probably a few bhp more on top of that).

Performance is impressive to say the least. Pulls through every gear, more torque and no flat spots. Wouldn't hesitate to get it done..... If your local we can go for a burn.

Putting out 240 bhp ... that would be an affirmative ;)

I am also struggling to find a place for remapping my COOPER (not cooper s) .. I rang the mini tuning company lohen and for the r56 mini cooper they said that they have no programs for the r56 ecu at the moment.

I'm willing to travel like, as I would make a day of it.. I need to get exhaust mani, exhaust, spark plugs, and filter before I get the map.. Would you be able to do that alright? (apologies if I sound patronising lol)

I also just want a remap I can reverse and make no changes or other modifications. Ten more HP and a little more torque and I am happy. ;) I don't want to go down the road to massive changes.
