I need help!
I have bought a Shelby stripe to fit to My 2005 MINI. The only problem is the bulge in the bonnet, the part where it tapers in and down at the same time, it's practically impossible to get it to sit right, I had spare so I tried to do it and it was really too hard.
Is there any suggestions as to how I should fit it? Heating and stretch?
I might have to go the route of cutting a slit out so it lines up, then I would be left with a join, which I wouldn't really want.
Any help really would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Olly
(The shelby stripe, black and red pinstripes, was inspired by Andy's on his Mini One Graphite, looks fantastic! Red mirrors planned too, got the Chilli Red spray from Halfords!)
