hello all, im new to this forum so any info would be appreciated.
i love my new whip (cooper s, 08, full aero kit).
She is going back to dealers for cold start rattle this week, apart from that i want to re-map it when warranty is up, ive been looking at the p-torque maps, good company? looking for about 200-210hp.
any info bout the re-map or the cold start rattle would be greatly appreciated.

anyone know good insurance companies beacuse my premium takes the ****!

You can find lots of positive feedback regarding P-Torque remaps ...

:search: Keyword(s): "p-torque", remap ; Forum: Second Generation MINI Tuning (http://www.mini2.com/forum/search.php?query=p-torque+remap&exactname=1&starteronly=0&forumchoice%5B%5D=661&childforums=1&titleonly=0&showposts=0&searchdate=0&beforeafter=after&sortby=lastpost&sortorder=descending&replyless=0&replylimit=0&searchthreadid=0&saveprefs=1&quicksearch=0&searchtype=1&nocache=0&ajax=0&userid=0)

A P-Torque remaps will give you more the 200 - 210 bhp ;)

I'd second MINIAC's post... Evolve Automotive come highly recommended too.

As for the death rattle... there are loads of great threads on here, just search the forum for "cold start rattle" - these two should get you started:

MCS Engine noise when cold (http://www.mini2.com/forum/second-generation-faults-fixes/136105-mini-cooper-s-engine-noise-when-cold.html) (152 pages!)

Cold Start Noise details Poll (http://www.mini2.com/forum/second-generation-faults-fixes/167692-cold-start-noise-details-poll.html)

Regarding insurance - try Adrian Flux. They've covered my last 3-4 cars and I honestly cannot fault them. :)
