: R53 Cooper, Magnex exhaust?

I've been advised that a Magnex exhaust is a decent quality piece of kit for the money i'm looking to spend. When originally searching online, I'm 99% sure I found one suitable for an R53, however haven't been able to come across said exhaust since.

I'm basically wondering whether anybody has a Magnex on their standard Cooper? I've also heard the PlayMini exhausts are nice (and affordable) however I dont want anything too loud..or...boy racer-ish, if that makes any sense.

Any other idea's are more than welcome, be it brands, certain exhausts that others have/have had in the past. I'd essentially be working on about £350-400.

Any links to video's would be greatly appreciated also so I can get an idea of how they sound. I've had a browse of youtube, but at times have come up short. Thanks alot in advance for any help.

You've posted several times about having a R53 Cooper. This is confusing to some of us.

R53 is the designation for a 1st Gen Cooper S ... a Cooper is a R50.

If by R53 you're referring to registration, that won't have much meaning to members outside the UK. You should find out the build date (http://www.mini2.com/forum/faq.php?faq=new_faq_item#faq_faq_build_date) of your MINI and use that instead of registration.

For example I have a 2002-05 build MCS.
