I'm tempted as anyone would be by a re-map from one of the site sponsors, especially when I see mention of improved mpg! It sounds too good to be true so I'm wading in with caution.

Has anyone ever had any adverse effects from a basic remap on a stock R56 MCS?

I'm thinking along the lines of: worse mpg from similar driving to before, any engine or transmission problems, it's been noticed by Mini and warranties have been invalidated? Anything else I missed would be welcome!

Hope this doesn't cause offence with the sponsors if it comes across like I'm doubting their genuineness (I'm not!) but the homework has to be done

Or if people have had it done ages ago, and have been looking for faults and not found any that would be useful too obviously!
