Anyone retro fitted reversing sensors.
I've seen aftermarket kits for as little as £20.
Any recommendations?

Never thought I'd want them but I've just reversed onto a short steel post that I couldn't see. I'm hoping these sensors can pick that sort of object up.....

I fitted a set on a Volvo 850 a while ago. I found them V good.

Took rear bumper off, drilled holes, fitted sensors and wired them all up - worked as expected.

I've had cars with factory fitted sensors before and these ones worked just the same

I've given up with PDC now... the last two cars I've had with it, I've ended up getting lackadaisical when parking, relying on the sensors, then bumping into stuff they didn't pick up! Much like the post you mention I imagine!

By contrast, out of all the cars I've owned without PDC, I've never once reversed into anything while parking! :hmph:

Try Googling "Parking Dynamics" they do what it says on the tin and you do not have to drill holes in your bumper.

Yes, I guess it's a bit like SatNav, when I'm in my other car without it, I can't even find the end of the road!

But It's cost me repairing the rear bumper, so I want to give it a go.
