Just a quick comparison on the standard bulbs and the LEDs I just installed today.
The picture would be better in darker conditions but it gives you an idea.
Cost me £13.99 from ebay with free postage. Certainly match the xenons better than the standard yellow ones. Only took 5 mins to install aswell.

I assume you had no problems with 'Bulb Failure' warning lights ?

Definitely going for something similar when my new MCS arrives. Have some Blue Vision bulbs in my current car, which are better colour than OEM bulbs, but not as bright as your LEDs.

Nice little mod! I did the same (post here (http://www.mini2.com/forum/2518954-post63.html)) on my old R53 a few years ago - looks so much cleaner! :D

For £13.99 they sound like good quality bulbs ..... do you have a link ? Been looking at MTec £12 or Phillips Blue Vision (but they are around 34 quid !)

Only took 5 mins to install aswell. 5 minutes! You must have dexterous hands. Took me about 20 mins of severe swearing and a paper hankie to mop up the blood . Results made it worthwhile though.

Thats nice! I changed my park bulbs to Osram CoolBlue. Even though its not at white as an LED (Which seem fracking difficult to find in Cape Town), it now matches my fog light. The 2 lights now look like one unit when the fogs need to be used. Have you kept your foglight bulbs standard?
