Thinking of getting some spotlights for my cooper s.
How easy are they to fit? How do they attach? (I have an aero grill, will this be a problem?)
And do i go for 2 or be greedy and have 4? :)
Opinions appreciated!

With the Aero grille, you'll need to drill some holes to slot the brackets through... I actually asked the same question (http://www.mini2.com/forum/first-generation-mini-exterior/110082-driving-lights-aero-grill.html) a few years ago! :D

Then there's the wiring side of things, but I ended up not installing them so I can't comment on how easy it is (or isn't). Here's the "how to" though: Auxiliary Driving Light Installation Kit (http://motoringfile.com/howto/Driving_Lights_902.pdf)

Hope that helps! Oh, and I'd go for 4. ;) :D

Hi Just fitted spotlights on my 2007 cooper, got them off Ebay. They came with a grille, which I had to fit the crome strips on , the only difference to grille on the car was some cut-outs for brackets to fit through. Brackets, spotlights and wiring was supplied aswell. Easy to fit, if you can cut your grille should be easy to do.

I need to stick some spot lights on Ruby, I'm just waiting for payday to happen! I was debating two or four aswell. I think I'm going to go for two at first then add another two in the future. Ebay have full kits on there, lights/wires/brackets in chrome and stainless steel, just type in WIPAC mini spotlights and they come up. From what I've read the WIPAC ones seem to be really good, I'm going to get them in stainless steel as chrome apparently rusts quite quickly.

I'm going to have a go at wiring them myself, I like a challenge lol

I have just put 4 on mine . They are very easy to do now that I have done it, if you know what I mean.
They are 5" stainless Steel Wipacs bought with brackets and wiring kit from madautoparts who are doing a good deal at the moment.
If you go that way they only send a wiring kit for two lights this means you will be short of two connectors for the spots and also short of a bit of wire.
You will also need an in line fuse holder and a 25 amp fuse all sourced from halfrauds.
If you are interested I will do a how I did it, mines an r50 with chrome grill.
