Hi,
I purchased a 2003 mini cooper s (after being without mini since 2002 and had forgotten how fun it was to drive).
Anyhow, it has a iphone adapter added, which i am reasonable sure is 3rd party addon and that works fine, as does the radio.
However the CD player won't let me enter a CD and i get 'cd error' when i circle through the inputs.
Doing a google search and i can see that its either a dead head unit or there is a cd stuck in the drive.
As the gap is small and its covered with the felt stuff, i can't see into the unit to see if there is a cd there or not.
Is there a way to manually eject the cd, like the paperclip button on a lot of players? or another way to know if there is a cd there.
I tried removing the fuses for a while and putting them back but that didn't seem to work.
Any idea how much it would cost to get a new headunit. I don't want to hit the look, so would rather a proper mini one or equiv?
Thanks in advance.
