: Blackout Beltline or no?

I love the looks of my 2011 Cooper S, but considering with a black roof and body, the chrome beltline sure does shine a bit much. I was wondering what all of you think, should I blackout the beltline or no? I have the blackout tape from OutMotoring (I asked for a few feet extra and they gave me two whole rolls!).

I posted some images below of a rough photoshop of what it would look like. I think it looks a bit more clean, but a few of my friends disagree. I've already gotten and installed a much shorter antenna, since the stock one looks a tad silly. I am also considering tinting the windows as well, which might go well with less chrome.

Vote or post and let me know! Thanks!

It's a pretty easy process, I found cleaning the belt line with alcohol then letting it dry before peeling off a few inches at a time of the tape and applying it as you peel with a soft cloth to smooth it down worked best. After about a half hour you will start to see air bubbles in the tape, just pick at them lightly without peeling up the bottom layer and the clear layer on top of the tape will peel off easily.

The hardest part is lining it up perfectly, but if you ask for some extra you should have enough to re-do some parts.

Hope that helps! I really love the look of my car now, it's more manly and mean :)
