Hey there,
I just traded in my old car for a 52 reg Mini One 1.6 automatic. I arrived to collect it from the dealer on friday 17/6 and the battery had gone, so had to hang around for a new one to be delivered and fitted, better for it to happen there than when i got home!
I have noticed since getting it, that when i put it into D with my foot still on the brake the car jumps, and sometimes stalls. It seems to happen when first started, and the EML light comes on, after putting it into D for a few seconds. It becomes less problematic as the car warms up. This is a bit worrying, I know it's not normal as I have had various automatics before including VW Beetle, Nissan Figaro, and a Ford Focus. I love the car as once it's going it's great, I've taken a warranty with it as all my cars have had issues so didn't want to risk it! Think I'm cursed when it comes to cars!
I see there has been similar posts, but not for some time.
If someone could share their knowhow, it would be much appreciated.
Thanks
