I have the wave to boost connection kit from newministuff, but it just says "disabled" when I turn the player on.

There is one connection piece that isnt connected to anything, the small one. I read a wire needs pulling out and connecting but I dont really know where.

Attached all relevant images to try help. I have heard its ibus not connected but where is this or which connector?

*apparently that is cd prep wire and doesnt need connecting, so must be some other issue.

I had a similar problem and when i sent Mike @ newministuff this picture he confirmed that i have been sent the wrong cable.

I noticed that the pins didnt correspond between the car and the loom adaptor.

In fairness to Mike he did send me out a replacement adaptor the very next day but unfortunately there was also a problem with that one that i sorted out myself. The permanent and switched live were the wrong way round so the stereo couldnt remember what radio station or track you were last listening too and when you turned the ignition on -disable- flashed on very quickly.

All in all id say 6.5 out of 10; must try harder. ;)
