Hi,
Can anyone tell me exactly what parts I will need to source from donor Minis to retro fit Air conditioning to my BMW Mini Cooper?

It is a 2002 with Chili Pack and was too good a car to pass by...immaculate condition with only 54k. Getting one with Air-con however is like hens teeth unless traveling more than 300mls.

I have read somewhere that fitting Auto Climate aircon is easier than manual...something to do with the wiring??

Is there any step by step info available anywhere to fit this?

Any help appreciated

Official instructions below for fitting the MINI Automatic Air Conditioning kit (pdf file):
Retrofitting Auto Air Conditioning Guide (http://www.minitorque.com/forum/f275/retrofitting-auto-air-conditioning-guide-658/)

Some more info here from someone who did the job diy:-

Post no.2 here has some pics of the dash assy removed and air con/heater assembly:-

The BMW kit only fitted climate/automatic air con so you need to source used parts from Mini's fitted with the climate system as the heater unit is quite different to manual air con.
You could try below for cheaper used parts or ebay Mini breakers:
