HELPPPP!!!!:( I planning to change my 2002 MINI Cooper rear lights to 2005 lights as the new lights I have seen are much brighter at night. Does anyone know how can I convert the rear bumper reverse light into a fog? Is that a big job to do? or do I need to take my mini to BMW dealer and convert them with their computer?
Many Thanks

It's a physical wiring job - you need to re-route the existing foglight wiring that goes to the bulb holder in the lens down to the reverse light in the bumper, and vice versa. in theorey it's reasonably straightforward, but you'll need to be confident locating the correct wires and extending them properly. It's probably a job for an auto electrician, but I imagine there'll be someone on here who's done it before and can guide you properly. It's not a job for the BMW dealer computer.
Hope you get it sorted, as I've wondered about it myself to update the rear of mine, but written it off so far as a job i wouldn't tackle myself.
