CHANGING TIMES
We’d like to introduce to you, our new Dealer Principal, David McGoldrick. David recently joined the dealership after three years as Dealer Principal at Knights South Staffordshire and prior to that he held the role at Halliwell Jones North Wales so he has a wealth of experience in running successful dealerships.
David will be key in ensuring the high standards you’ve received as a customer of Derek Woodman remain as we enter a new era on the 1st July 2011 and embrace our new company name of Lloyd Blackpool.
The decision to change the name was a difficult one but well considered as Derek Woodman has had an excellent reputation within the local area for over forty years. But we determined that after 12 months of being part of the Lloyd Motor Group and with David’s appointment, now is a fitting time to make the change. The Lloyd family name has a strong history in Cumbria with its people (both staff and customers) at the heart of its business and has an enviable reputation for quality and customer service. The name-changing decision has been made so as to give us more strength and recognition as part of a family-owned group, the option to offer our customers greater choice and have access to additional expertise.
High on David’s agenda is your experience as a customer to this business. It’s his intention for Lloyd Blackpool MINI to become a 10-star dealer and provide you with the highest level of customer service, with staff that are prepared to go the extra mile.
“The ultimate goal for me,” said David, “is that all of our customers, whether sales or aftersales, leave the dealership feeling that their custom was valued; that they made the right decision in choosing our services; the experience was pleasurable and they are happy to return to us and recommend us.”
Finally, if you have any questions or feedback on the name change, we’d welcome your comments. Please call us on 01253 607631 or you can email David direct at David.McGoldrick@derekwoodman.bmw-net.co.uk
