Good morning

I am going to fit an ITG filter in my JCW intake and do the flap mod at the same time. Couple of things though:

a) Is there any harm in leaving the vacuum line connected? Instructions I have found say to remove and plug with a screw engine side. Not sure I want do this and can't see what difference it makes leaving it hooked up to the box.

b) Is there a risk of premature supercharger failure as it will be working harder before 4500rpm when the door would have normally opened?

Thanks for any help

Hi
You will be fine running without the additional flap connected to the vac pipe
the charger will be okay as it doesn't work any harder without the jcw filter flap connected as the filter only produces the extra bhp after 4,500 rpm

hope this helps
