POSTPONED DUE TO BAD WEATHER

Hello again Mini fanatics!
The next run has been planned... this one will be like no other. If you thought Mt Glorious was a great day, this drive makes Mt Glorious look like a trip to the grocery store!
This upcoming run will first tease you by venturing through Mt Tamborine followed by a short pit stop. We will then continue out to O'Reilly's, nestled high within the Lamington National Park. Once at O'Reilly's we will sit down for lunch and watch parrots do unspeakable things on our MINI’s.
Now you might be asking why should I drive to the middle of no where to watch parrots do these things to my car? Well this road was made for MINIs! It contains lots of twists and turns, blind corners and several one way sections (just to add to the thrill). Plus the scenery is absolutely gorgeous might I add...

Similarly to the last run, it will be broken in two sections. The first will be a 1 hour trip from the meeting location, through Mt Tamborine, ending up at Canungra. At this point you are welcome to leave, or continue on. :-)
The second stage will be the highlight of the day and we will continue from Canungra to O'Reilly's. This second stage is roughly 40 minutes long and we will have lunch at this end point, high up in the mountains. If all goes to plan we will be sitting down for lunch before noon.
Details of the day:
When: 9 am - Sunday the 28th of August
Where: Grand Plaza Shopping Centre, Browns Plains. Meet in the parking lot directly across the road from McDonalds.
