After selling my last S back in March I've been trogging around in the T4 camper, until now.
Went and looked at an early Mk2 last week and have now bought it. It's a Mini Cherished car as I thought better to have a Mini warranty for a year. Looks like it was a demonstrator from Berry Heathrow originally, roughly adding up the options using Parkers I think it was about £26k new.

Best spec I will have had by far and a colour I've not had before, Astro Black. It's got more stuff than any other Mini I've seen in the flesh including lounge heated leather, Sunroof, SatNav (got a question about this, but will put in the correct section), HiFi with DAB, Bluetooth, tints, parking sensors, DSC, Armrest, chrome in and out, MFSW etc

Looking forward to picking it up next Friday from Yeovil. If anyone sees an all black 56 S going round all the roundabouts twice, that'll probably be me :D

Nice Mini mate, my one and only regret is not getting the integrated sat nav, will be on my next one tho.

Happy new car day :)

Very nice MINI. I would have loved to pick up a right hand drive MINI, but obviously not an easy task here in the states. Do you know if you can add the Nav feature to a MINI that doesn't have it equipped from the factory?

Pretty sure you can't add factory Nav roberts23, that's a big old bit of dash to mess about with.
New car day has gone back 1 hour, so off up to pick it up about 11am.

Yeovil roundabouts beware!
