Just got back from P-Torque,

First I'd like to say what a top place, Will was great, Very freindly and helpful. The service was 2nd to none.

First dyno run with just the a tank of V-power, ITG filter and JCW plugs made 196hp and 218lb of torque...... I was shocked.

Next Will took the car to the workshop for the De-cat, Forge FMIC and then the Re-map.

After mapping Will said nothing and let me take it for a drive. It felt like someone had stuck a different engine in the Mini.

When I got back he showed me the dyno print out.

She made 249.4 hp and 287lb of torque, with fairly high ambient temps.

The drive home was great, tons of pull in all gears and it pulls hard past 6k revs. Oh and the pops and bangs.....Epic.

Big thanks to Will at P-Torque.

:O

I sooooooooooo want. Mine got delivered with the wrong ECU (long story) so when I finally get my hands on the right one (VERY tightly controlled and BMW doesn't want to release to me at the moment) I am so getting a remap.

Hi mckeowan
Thx for posting your results with p-torque. I am very seriously considering doing something like you did.
How much did it cost you?
Did you have a custom remap?
If needed, can you re-apply your new map again by yourself, or would you have to take it back to do this?

Thx!

Hi, the remap lone was about £400, we also had a de-cat and Forgei FMIC fitted which with two dyno runs was about £1k. The remap was a custom one done on the dyno. If the car lost the map i would have to go back to P-Torque. That doesn't bother me though.
