: Bike Rack for 2010 Mini Convertible?

Hello All,
I am looking for a bike rack for my 2010 Mini Convertible. I would like to find one that doesn't require a hitch. I saw some threads about a German company that makes one but I can't understand a thing on their site.

Any advice would be greatly appreaciated.

There is a dedicated Convertible bike rack available, but I don't know if it is/was sold in the US. It's expensive ($600+) but does just what you want and fits into the two towing eye sockets in the back bumper.

I have a feeling that they may have stopped making it and I'm not sure that new convertibles come with the 'bike rack preparation', but if yours is 2010, it probably was built with this automatically. Lie on the ground and look under the boot/trunk floor and there should be a multi-pin lighting socket that the bike rack plugs into - it's a European style of trailer lighting socket on European cars, but I don't know what they fitted to US cars.
