Hello

Does anyone know if there is an oem exhaust tip for the first gen mini cooper? I have just had a new exhaust fitted and would rather it doesnt look rusty/burnt right away so thought exhaust tip might work? Unless anyones bought one from ebay they can recommend?

Indentally the council who pointlessly put up a new parking sign (there is a brand new pole 1 metre away already) decided its ok to spray the side of my car in mud and concrete just because I was parked in the parking space, they didnt give a ****! Absolutely *******s. Slight scratch on the side and it wont come off plastic trim. Disgraceful really as they have vandalised it really, they could have just covered it over or been more careful, it was all up the side and on the roof! :(

I wonder if part 20 is a tip you can stick on or the tip that is already on the exhaust :P

Yes - Part 20 is the standard 'Coke Can' chrome Tailpipe trim.
Similar trims are also available from the Genuine MINI accessories range in 2 different sizes to fit the One or larger Cooper exhaust (Mk1). Mine was about £20 ordered from local Mini Dealer.
(Fits straight on a std Cooper exhaust but the One needs the flared end of exhaust cut off)
