Hi
This is my mini cooper 2005 first generation
162309
The car already came with 2 spotlights, but I was interested in installing 2 more on. I want to buy some genuine ones and get someone else to install them.
Is there anything I should bear in mind with this, any problems at all and what I would need. Also any links where I can buy some would be helpful.
I am a complete beginner with this so any advice no matter how obvious would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Just fitted some of these
BMW MINI - SPOT LIGHTS CHROME (TWO IN SET) [BM10L30] - £55.00 : My Beautiful Mini
brackets are finished well, the spots are good too...
I did have to modify them a bit to have the wire coming out of the rear of the light, rather than exiting from the bottom of the thread...
Problem "new diy" people will be having to drill holes in the bonnet... without going right through to mount the brackets.... be careful!!!!
and then the wiring, you need to find a live feed and connections for the relay... to avoid plumbing into a complicated wiring system.
