I have a 07 cooper s and which has been serviced recently. Last weekend a warning light came on showing a car up on a ramp. When I checked my handbook it is a warning for a "vehicle check". Is this the same as a service or something different?

Yes you are right
if the car has just been serviced it should have been reset
Would take it back get them to check the car over and reset it
If you are happy with the car and you know it is all ok look on you tube ( mini service reset ) look for one by ask the car exsperts sorry can't be much more help but hope this help you enough

Thanks did this last night and reset! I still have one warning light which is for my front brakes that I was told may come on as they were getting low.

When the front pads are changed does a new sensor have to be fitted as well?
