I previously had this headunit in my corsa and had same problem it would not store bass settings or radio stations when i turned off my ignition. So I took it to halfords and they swapped a red and yellow wire around, however would this have been the leads in the plug attatched to the head unit or the wires in the plug on the vauxhall side.:confused:

Will swapping these wires back around solve my problem maybe?

For your headunit to work correctly you need a permanent 12v supply
and a 12v that works with the ignition switch.
Red is permanent 12v, yellow is switched.

As above you can have red and yellow swapped and thats usually it. So red to yellow, yellow to red on vws. Although for me an alpine on the mini the red was to red and yellow to yellow.
