Hi All,

My local mechanic has recently diagnosed that the central locking motor needs replacing at a cost £150 due to the drivers side door not unlocking when pressing the key fob.

This has led me to investigate doing the job myself and save about £100.

How easy is it to access the motor. Is it just a case of removing the door card? Or does window, tracks etc need to be removed aswell?

Many Thanks
Shaw

Did mine about three weeks ago.
It does require the door card to be removed.
Be warned, it's NOT a five minute job!

Thanks for the info. How long did it take you to do the job?
