OKey dokey.

I know you are all bored off this repeating topic but I need to cahnge me rear tyres. I have runflats on the front so though prefer ride of non runflats will stick with the conventional.

So all in all, what is the best type of run flat to fit?????

Thanks pin

I'm running on Fortuna runflats , bit harder than Pirellis and Dunlop but half the price . Had them on front for 20,000 and never yet had a run flat indicator which I got constantly with others !

Dunlop SP1 I have now on my mini, had Pirellies before for 2 full sets and found them to be not great, had uneven ware on the fronts despite having 4 wheel aligments and the LCA replaced in that time, Have the Dunlops now and the tread is wearing even and the grip is way better. MHO.. :)

I have Bridgestone Dueller ROF 17s on my All4D, with sport suspension, which rides better than my old Clubman D did on Vredestein 16s.

I've heard that you can't run minis on non-runflat tyres...is this true?
I hate the road noise from mine and last night my dashboard bum shaped light (!) started flashing at me telling me i had a flat.
Had done my tyre pressures 2 days beforehand, so i checked them again and they were completely fine. Reset it and its gone off but i would still prefer regular tyres if i can
Thanking you :)

No.

i've got falken 452's on my S,couldn't wait to ditch the run flats..

but you'll have get yourself a mobility pack consisting of a tyre inflation pump and a can of sealant, for if/when you do get a puncture..

Kumho KU31 SPT XRP

We use them for a 5 series. They're about the best thing next to a Potenza. The only downside for the Bridgestone, is that the RE050A, the evolution of the RE050 is not as good actually. I'm not really sure if Bridgestone still sell the older model, they don;t over here. Regarding Conti's, well, they're more buck rather than performance.

The Kumhos are very good performance and a good price.
