Just had to tell people about it. After many months of reading these forums and deliberating I finally ordered my Countryman SD! Got it with all the specs I wanted and a great discount from the dealer.
Cosmic Blue
Leather Lounge Black
Auto Gearbox

Media Pack
Harmon Kardon
Heated Seats and Front Screen
Electric Door Mirrors
Sunroof
I think that's pretty much it. I'll make sure I post some pictures when it arrives (should be end of Dec)! Thanks again to everyone on these forums for helping me make my decision!

Shoud be with your dealer by now, mine took a week from Austria to my house. H as yours turned up yet?

mdwolman Dec 2nd, 2011, 10:25 AM Just got an email from the dealer that it's arriving at the dealership on the 15th, very exciting! I should be able to pick it up on the 17th. I'll be sad to trade in the old hatch, but after 8 years I think it's time!
Dlanod Dec 3rd, 2011, 05:52 AM Great colour choice- I have a Cosmic Blue S All 4 with black roof - only thing with this colour is that it shows up the tiniest scuff in the lacquer. But once you get over that perfect new feeling it's fine!
WebMonkey26 Dec 4th, 2011, 12:10 PM I placed an order about the same time as you for a Countryman Cooper SD. It seemed to go thought the factory pretty quickly but it's taking an age to hit the UK.
It's been awaiting consignment for about 2 weeks now. The only thing I can assume is that they take a long trip over so the rest of the world can admire the awesomeness of our new Mini's :D
Looking forward to seeing the piccies when you get it.

mdwolman Dec 17th, 2011, 09:34 AM Picking it up tomorrow morning, will post some pics as soon as I can! I also went to the dealership last week and saw the lounge leather bench seat for the first time (which is what I'm getting). Looks awsome.
mdwolman Dec 19th, 2011, 07:56 AM Picked it up on Sunday, and absolutely love it. Took it on the motorway this morning, and it made the ride so much more enjoyable. The Nav system is better than I thought too.

The lounge looks great - at the time I ordered mine, lounge was only available on the 4 seater option so I had to settle for the gravity :angry:

I have a Countryman S in True Blue, with black roof & wheels. Chilli pack, sunroof, dark glass. Will put on some pics when I've worked it out!
RobbieA Jan 12th, 2012, 09:10 AM Congratulations on your new Countryman. I have had my Copper SD All 4 since October and love it. Like Darth, the Lounge leather was not available on 5 seat when I ordered so have Gravity leather in Polar Beige. The Media pack is very good. Having come from an Audi A1 with a very sophisticated MMI system I was worried that the Mini system would be a bit low grade but it's not. The sat nav is not as good but it is easy to use and fit for purpose but everything else is way better, especially the iPod connectivity and the way my Blackberry allows me to read my emails on screen or have them read back to me. amazing.
I have now done 4k and averaging 49 mpg over a full tank of diesel but easily get 54 mpg on a run so very pleased.
