Please could someone give me instructions on how to change the fog light bulbs on a 1st Gen Cooper S.... do i need to take the bumper off (in which case i will put it into a garage - to ambitious for me to tackle) or is there another way?

Just undo the single securing screw at the bottom of the chrome rim, then prise the outer rim off pulling from its bottom end whilst holding the rear steady.
Well - that s how you do it in theory if all goes well & nothings gone rusty in the intervening years, but I had to prise the 2 halves apart with a flat bladed screwdriver after spraying the area with WD40. :)
