: Problem with black plastic trim

Gave the MINI its first wash today (partly as it was dive bombed by some birds  )

Anyway, I found a bit of loose lower sill trim on the front nearside wheel area - it looks like it has come loose and I know it has not been knocked or bumped. Any ideas if it can simply be pushed back in, or is it clips etc ?

There are clips behind which slide in the black plastic sill trim and push into the metal bodywork behind, it should push back in if clip is not broken, otherwise you may need a new clip or clips.

This link below shows the Mk1 Mini sill trim replacement/removal and fixings but the Mk2 has very similar fixings shown on diagram at 6 & 7.
