MORTY,
The Ring In Springers will be in Brussels on Friday 10th April. Fancy meeting there for some fites and bier? We will then head to Germany on Saturday. How far from Brussels is Hamm?
Do you think we will have enough time on Saturday to visit macmini and then get to Nurburg before midnight on Saturday?

Thanks for your help, and if you are going lead the way from Belgium into Germany, you must drive slow cos Mr Pink (MartinL) does not like driving too fast as his umbrella blows away!

Morty, probably around 7.30pm local time. If you can't make it on Friday evening, perhaps we could meet on saturday as we drive to the German border?

Sounds good to me.
I will only be there the 12th because the 13th the MINI races in Zolder begin and I don't want to miss that one.

We can discuss it the 26th Jan or the 15th Feb Quicksilver.

hi there!

the international new mini meeting 2003 in germany will take place at this place: http://www.zentralhallen.de (its not listed in their program yet!)

this will probably be the first indoor new mini meeting as far as i know   :) ?!.

its really a very big venue of 3000m² space ;) !. if the expected 100 MINI'S will come the venue will only be filled 50% !

we thought it would be a very nice idea to have a roof above your head in case of bad german april weather!. the venue can be heated to a max. of 25°C which is round about 70°F - so rather comfi ;) !

more about the "program" for these 2 days in april is to be announced within this week !

hope to see many of you guys in april !

Hi!

Here is the present program for april 12th:

Start:

~10.00 o'clock

End:

~23.00 o'clock

(1) Inbetween we'll have several contests

such as:

"Who's got the prettiest MINI?"
"Who had the longest trip getting to INMM?"
"Who's got the lowest MINI?"
"Who's got the oldest New MINI?"
"."
"."
"."
etc.

These contests will be held by a jury which will "judge" every single MINI after certain criteria!. Every INMM-participant can vote for or pick out his personal favorite. The winner of each contest will recieve a little surprise ;).

(2)

"Meet-Mini"

Due to the fact that this INMM will also be a public meeting we've decided to book "Meet-Mini" for our event!.
This "Meet-Mini" package contains somekind of a tower with 8 new MINI's which can be tested/test driven by anyone who wants to. Looks pretty impressive in reality!. Here's a picture:

http://www.new-mini-ig.de/meet.jpg

(3)

"Meeting the mechanics"

Everyone of us who always wanted to know some specific info about the production process of a new MINI will have the chance to talk to some mechanics we have invited from oxford!. There will also be some people from the BMW-MINI-corporation who will be there for your questions like for example when the new mini convertible will be introduced or when the jcw-kit for the cooper s will hit the market!.

(4)

"Aftermarket-Shop"

There will be a little shop where you can buy stuff like "Giveaways", "Chromestuff", "Aluminum rims", "Exhausts", "Superchips" etc... at good and fair prices.

(5)

"Food&Drinks"

In the restaurant shown in the sketch above you're able to have a little or big snack like cakes, "schnitzels" ;), rolls and especially orginial german beer ;)!. There is room for round about 200 people so can sit together and have a little talk about the latest MINI news :).
Round about 11p.m we'll park our cars in front of the "arena" on the parking lot which is guarded and fenced.

Sunday april 13th

Convoy!
Round about 10a.m take off to the little lake "Möhne" (~30 miles away).
Destination will be a cool pub near the beach!

Further info about hotels/b&b's and so on will be posted here in the next few days!

Will try and drag as many Mini2ers from the UK as we can to this event. Looks great and will be the perfect forerunner to drving around the Nurburg Ring on Sunday!

Hi folks !

For those of you who need a place to sleep for one or two nights i've picked out some hotels in hamm which can be found

here ----> http://www.hamm.de/5252.htm

nearly all of them are 5-10 minutes away from INMM (by taxi).
prices are between 10 to 60pounds !

There is a camping site in HAMM UENTROP but that one is too far away from our INMM location!

If you need help simply PM me ;) !

I don't know.
It'll depend from s&m on how many will come.

For us Belgians, It'll probably be discussed during next saturday meet in Holland. I'll try to convince Xoura from Club-nouvelle-mini to join us.

@ mac:

Do you have talked to someone of the Geronimo´s staff?

I think, we won´t get a chance to park there.
First, they have special brunch offers on sundays. And if the weather is good on "our" date, there will be a load of convertible drivers and bikers around the Moehne.

hi dennis!

we will try to get a table for 50 people including a parking section for minis only ;) !

Hm, 50 people?

I think, the whole area upstairs could be perfect. But as the staff there is one of the best I know, they´ll manage it to our satisfaction.

I hope, they´ll be so nice to reserve the parking lots in front of the house.
Could look very cool. :D

What do you think how many cars and people we will be?
