hey guys!

my dealer and i will try and do a giant NMM in spring (march/april) 2003!

it will be located near hamm which is ~25 mins north-east of dortmund (and dortmund is 3 1/2 hours to "calais") !

right now things are doing pretty well that this meeting will $-supported by bmw/mini germany!!

further details are to be announced in a couple of weeks in this thread!

we will talk with MINI germany about sponsoring this event to make it a real big thing - the first one actually in the new "season" ;-)
hope there will be a positive response from BMW !?

From my selfish point of view, I hope the two events do not coincide with each other :(

The reason why I cannot make the Ring In Spring is that I shall be away from Europe between the last weekend in March and the first weekend in April 03 :(

Thought you were saving yourself for the International MM later in the year? Any way I am not sure if Mr DK would want to try and snap us as we whizz (hopefully) by at 100mph whislt he stands in the damp and cold Germany country side in early spring.
Then again I could be wrong, as he did produce excellent reults in Mallory!

The Ring In Spring
is going to be timed to coincide with the NMM Germany 2003.

We do not care if it is raining when we drive round thee ring, just as long as it is not snowing!

Macmini, as soon as you have the dates for the meet can you let me know so I can organise the UK contingent?

Morty, we will still try and hook up wit you in Belgium and, if you are going to the German meet, follow you down, before we head off to the 'Ring.

We hope to be able to swing by on our way to the Nurburgring, however we are awaiting confirmation about the opening dates for the track at the moment. As soon as we know I will post here so that Macmini can give me some directions on how to get to Hamm!;)
