I went to German Motor Specialist in Sunnyvale when my transmission failed. I was in a jam having broken down about 120 miles from home and facing a major repair right at Christmas time. They were extremely helpful, offered a much better rate than the nearest dealership (Mountain View) and were great about working with me at long distance to arrange the repairs and the transfer of of my car from Mountain View. They did have a bit of trouble replacing the CVT, but to be fair they had only done it once before. Overall I was pretty impressed by their customer service.
