Hi all,

Just picked up a new cooper d. Loving it but the interior reading lights are driving me mad!

Sometimes when i try to open the boot with the remote the reading lights turn on (not the normal interior lights).

I wouldnt mind but they dont seem to want to turn off automatically. Im forced to open the car up and use the switch.

Does anyone know if this is normal for a mini?

I had this on my Countryman, dealer could not fix this fault along with a large list of others. Maybe Mini have batches of faulty interior light consoles?

Get you dealer to check it out.

I have the same problem - dealer cannot find a fault. Took it in on tuesday - started playing up again today. Can't face another trip to dealer. Will wait until service.
