Milltek all the way and if you can afford it now or later on get the manifold too. Awesome sound but quiet when driving normally.

Shop around, you won't find anywhere cheaper than from this place motorsportworld.co.uk

Milltek is pretty awesome. Some of my ST friends ran Milltek systems and it made a huge difference.

Have you checked Remus? I've heard good things about them too.

I think i am edging towards Milltek but when you say quiet when driving normally will it still be louder and have a different tone to my standard one fitted now? and thanks for the link to motorsportworld will defiently get it from there if i choose Milltek, best price ive seen by far!!

I assume you have an S? I had the cat back first and it is a louder and deeper tone than stock without being boy racer stupid loud above 4000rpm, just very raspy.

When I could afford it I got the manifold which makes the pops sound like gun shots!

Plus, the tips look a lot better than the stock beer cans.

The wonders of Google ;)

Exhaust manifold - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exhaust_manifold)

Why don't you start with an induction kit instead of the exhaust? It won't make much difference in power, but it should be cheaper and sounds pretty cool too!

It sounds like you want your car to sound better?

Cool man. Well I don't think you can go wrong with Miltek, the quaility is really good. As for sound, maybe check on YouTube if there aren't maybe some clips that might help you decide.

Milltek is a must!

I had mine fitted on my cooper s last month and cant help but drive around with the windows down around towns and it is December...

Also, burbles when you let your foot off... even gives a little pop in between short gear changes if you leave the gap long enough.

When past 4000 rpm the exhaust is shouting out the most satisfying noise which always puts a smile on my face!

P.S. Isnt loud at all on the motorways! Cant go wrong!!

Went for a milltek in the end :) very pleased with it, and i agree with you driving around with the windows down haha, cant help but give it a little rev when at idle too :)

Would still like to see how it compares to the playmini still but am very happy it also looks the nuts!
