I'm trying to spec my new car, and I want to understand whether MINI Connected (with or without nav) does anything useful for me if I have an Android phone and not an iPhone.
I prefer the look of the regular speedo versus the screen, but if there are any useful things I might do it, it's only a few hundred bucks different than all the options from that pack plus the Bluetooth, which is my alternative.
For instance:
- do I get to use all the car setup menus on the screen instead of in the one-line in the rev counter?
- does the park distance control show in the screen?
- does my phone book from the Android get synced to the car and show up in the screen for easy access?
I understand that I won't get the Pandora control, etc., but is there anything else that is better with the screen than without?
