Hi,

Ok, well it would be really great to get some help with a central locking issue that ive got with the R50.

Initially thought it was the BC1, then the drivers door lock - now I just don't have a clue...

In the car, you can use the toggle and it works no problems.

If you use either the fob or the key in the lock - the car locks then immediately unlocks.

If you take the battery off for 5 minutes, put it back on, the locking system works no problems. Soon as you jump in start it up - try the fob or key in the door it's back to square one - locks/alarm on/alarm off/unlocks.

So frustrating....

Any ideas?

Personally I've thought (and with help from others):
Fob is fine - as it also does it with key in door.
Door lock is fine as straight after putting the battery back on doors work a-ok.
BC1 is fine, only seems to effect doors-surely more would be wrong if it was the BC1?

Any thoughts guys???? Could it be the battery ? Needs a top-up? Car starts fine every time..
Maybe an earth????

Help..........

Really appreciate your help :)

Hello, I'm pretty unfamiliar with the r50 so bare with me. Does the r50 have a convienience option? As in the proximity door unlocking from the fob?

Hey Bmont82,

I'm not quite sure what you mean, yes it has unlocking via the fob from close proximity?

Could you explain abit more (sorry).

Regards,
Neil
